CASTING CALL - PAID - test scene

Actors needed for tests scenes for an interactive film project. Scenes involve members of the community grappling with serious criminal offenses. All actors will be paid.
Filming will take place in Waterloo Region, hopefully in mid-June.

This person has led a tough life - he has been both the abused and abuser. He is battling health conditions now that weaken him; his voice is hoarse. Though he has caused great harm, he is committed to never offending again and has made great strides in his psychological, emotional, and mental health. He has a lot to give back and help others who have been through what he has been through.

Elaine
Age: 45 -60s
Ethnicity: Person of colour
Gender: Woman


A mother of three children, Elaine has been working with marginalized and vulnerable populations her whole life. She has seen a lot of hurt and a lot of redemption in the people she has worked with. She now volunteers helping people who have offended to lead an offence-free and pro-social life. She is realistic about outcomes, but has not seen anything that works better in keeping communities safe from re-offending.
