Casting Call: Prison dramatization

Photo: Chicago Sport and Social Club
UPDATE: We have locked a date and location:
Friday, July 21st in the gym at Lincoln Road Chapel, Waterloo.

Hi all, we're looking for a number of awesome ladies to fill roles of both women in prison and community volunteers for a short doc we're producing with Community Justice Initiatives for their Stride Night program that brings the community into women's prisons across Canada and builds relationships through games, crafts, and other social activities.

The main scene would be a simulated Stride Night with volunteers being paired with actors portraying the women in prison. The main activity would be volleyball with board games on the sidelines.

The key here is low-stress, no-prep roles! You will be hanging out with other people, having any old conversation: family, friends, TV shows, sports, etc (because this is literally how Stride Night is - just a bunch of people hanging out, chatting!).
