Casting Call - PAID - High school coop program.

We are producing a promo video for a collaborative program bringing high school students onto university campus (University of Waterloo and Laurier) for a term of learning and coop!

We need:

Student Lead
Female
Age: 17- 23ish (you're supposed to be a 4th or 5th year high school student)
Ethnicity: Any
 Minimal speaking lines, mostly non-verbal acting. Experiencing life on campus:
- attending classes
- meeting new people
- walking around campus
- hanging out at a coffee shop with friends
- working in tech/science lab
Time commitment: Full day (8 hours), possibly two half days.
Honorarium provided.

Female
Age: 17- 23ish (you're supposed to be a 4th or 5th year high school student)

- attending classes
- sharing notes, chatting socializing between classes, etc
Time commitment: 1/2 day

We are filming at St. Jerome's University College and UW sometime NEXT WEEK: Wed Oct 31, Thursday Nov 1, or Friday Nov 2. Details to be confirmed.

“Clueless Uncle”

• male, 35 - 55yo

• Premise: Uncle is supposed to give congratulatory speech at niece’s graduation dinner but promotes a sign product instead.
• 9 hr day

“Clueless Mom”

• woman, 50 - 60yo
• any ethnicity
• speaking role
• paid
• Premise: Mom uses daughter’s birthday party as an opportunity to promote a sign product.
• 9 hr day

“Disgruntled Graduate”

• woman or man - early 20s
• any ethnicity
• non-speaking (but requires great facial reactions)
• Premise: Your college graduation dinner is hijacked by your uncle promoting a sign product.
• 4 hr day

“Birthday Girl/Boy”

• 14-17 yo
• any ethnicity
• non-speaking role
• Premise: Instead of a present, your mom got you a sign product that she’s promoting. You’re not happy.
• 4 hr day

Family

• The rest of the family around the dinner table: 
• Dad (50- 60)
• Grandpa & Grandma (70s-80s)
• Sister/Brother - 12- 15yo
• Friend - early 20s
